About us

PINE LODGE KENNELS is a small family owned business which first opened for business in 1985.  Originally named Chrisvale Kennels, it was owned  by Sean’s mum Christine up until 2018.  It was then myself and Sean who then  took over the management of the business full time and we then began to renovate and rebuild the business to provide a luxury home from home accommodation.

 

Our priority is to give each pet  a home from home experience with extra care given to comfort, safety and security along with plenty of cuddles and fun. Our aim is to give each guest a pawsitive experience so they leave happy and content.


In Jan 2022 we renamed our business PINE LODGE KENNELS and we are constantly striving to expand and improve and everything we do is for the benefit of our guests. We love to make all our guests stay as fun and enjoyable as possible so they look forward to their next stay with us.

Our Operating Proceedures

OPENING TIMES

 

We run an appointment-only service between the hours of:

 

Mon - Fri - 8.00 - 10.30 and 15.00 - 17.30

Sat - Sun - 8.00 - 10.00 and 15.30 - 17.00

 

Christmas Eve and New Years Eve we're only open 9.00am - 10.30am

Closed Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Years Day for pick-ups and drop-offs

 

 

CHECK IN

 

On arrival please keep your pet in the car while you check in with any items you have brought for the stay and we can also check your vaccination card and any paperwork/payments.

FEED TIMES

 

Feed times are served every morning and evening and lunchtime if required or tailored to your requirements. Treats are provided before bedtime on permission.

HEALTH

 

All pets boarding must be in good health to board and any medical conditions need to be reported to us at the time of booking. Any medications will also need to listed at time of booking as well as doses given and all medications need to be clearly packaged. Unfortunately we cannot administer injections.

EXERCISE

 

All pets staying with us will receive up to 3 daily exercises and playtimes per day in one of our secure play areas. The time allocated is dependant on the needs and age/health of each pet.

CLEANING

 

Each room is cleaned daily with approved veterinary disinfectant and is pet safe.

Bedding is also changed daily.

Pet bowls are regularly cleaned daily.
