PINE  LODGE  KENNELS

We are situated in the Lancashire hills on the A666 between Bolton and Darwen, serving Darwen, Bolton, Blackburn, Preston and beyond.

 

We pride ourselves on quality rather than quantity so as to provide our guests with maximum care and attention.

All the rooms are newly installed, cosy and most importantly warm with central heating throughout. All rooms come with plush bedding changed daily. Each room as its own large attached run which is fully covered from the elements with full CCTV on each room and installed with a calming music sound system to help your pet feel more relaxed.

 

Each of our guests will have a minimum of 2-3 excercise sessions daily in one of our playing fields with games, this will be individual off lead play. Also we provide BUDDY TIME with other dogs of suitable character with your permission. Our aim is to provide your pet with an enjoyable secure holiday stay with lots of care attention and unlimited cuddles.

 

IMPAWTENT NEWS COOMING 2025

We will have 6 new luxury studio rooms available  2025. These rooms are extra large with extra large covered runs attached. Double glazed front door and window. Each will have individual adjustable heating in each one, TVs, soothing music sound system, Luxury beds and more.

 

Also JURASSIC BARK adventure park for activities that incorporate brain stimulation, physical activity, and social engagement.

Boarding

 

Welcome. When your pet comes to stay with us, they will each receive a warm & friendly welcome and made to feel at home. Each cosy centrally heated room is custom built to high specifications and every pet will be provided with plush bedding which is changed daily. To each room is a large sleeping area with a large individually attached run which is fully covered to provide shelter and shade. CCTV cameras are positioned over each pets room for extra security. Every pet will go outside in one of  our secure playing areas 3 times a day. Piped relaxing music is provided through the doggy channel. Food is also provided at no extra cost which is Step Up to Naturals grain/wheat  free Dry and Wet variety. Treats are also given by permission.

Meet & Greet

 

Meet and Greets are limited to certain times due to our very busy schedule throughout the day and we may not be able to see new customers in peak times.

Forest Walks

 

A forest walk can be provided at an additional cost should you wish your pet to have an extra on lead local forest walk.

2 Play Paddock's + 1 Inside Play

 

Here at Pine Lodge We have a large secure play paddock where your pets will enjoy up to 3 daily off lead playtimes and exercise either individually or buddy time with other suitable dogs  if you require.

Birthday Celebrations

 

Please let us know if your pet will have their Birthday while staying with us and we will provide a birthday cake and special treat.

Bath Time

 

We can provide a bath,brush and blow dry service for your pet before the end of their stay with us.

Media Package

 

Photo/Videos and updates are provided on our private Facebook page. We can also add you to WhatsApp and give you regular updates. This is a free service.

Welcome Pack

 

When your pet comes to stay with us, they will each receive a treat pack which includes all natural dental sticks which are given daily on permission.

Buddy Time

 

Buddy time is free and an extra playtime with other suitable dogs that are staying with us.We will pair suitable pets together to enjoy playtime together in our secure field.Pleaes ask if you would like Buddy time.

              Meet and Greet are by appointment only,Please check with us for availability and appointment times 

Meet and Greet with your pet are on a saturday morning outside the kennels.

This is to minimise disruption to the dogs currently staying us.

Important Information

At Pine Lodge we must be able to handle, play and interact freely with your dog.

    We must be able to easily attach a collar and lead and be able to walk your dog on a lead.

       We must be happy that your dog is eating well and that they are able to take any required medication.

      Senior dogs over 10 years must have their own food.

Pick up and Drop off Times

Appointment times will be given between:

 

Monday to Friday - 08:30 to 10:30 and 15:30 to 17:30.

 

Saturday and Sunday 8.30 - 10.00 and 15.30 - 17.00.

 

Christmas Eve Opening Time - 08.30 to 10:00 and 15.00 -15.30

 

 

Christmas Day - Closed for pick ups and drop offs

 

Boxing Day - 8.30 - 9.30 and 15.00 -15.30 

 

New Years Eve Opening - 08.30 to 9.30 and 15.00 - 15.30

 

New Years Day - Closed for pick ups and drop offs

 

 

Any booking on Christmas Eve will require a minimum stay of 3 days.

 

Christmas Day and New Years Day will incur an additional £10.00 per day, per dog.

All Prices are per calendar day to Include day of arrival and day of departure.

If pickup is before 10.30am on day of departure, then that day will be charged

at half price,  full day price thereafter

 

£50. Deposit to be paid at time of booking to secure your kennel.This is non refundable

 

FULL PAYMENT OF THE DURATION OF THE STAY IS REQUIRED ON THE DAY OF DROP OFF.

Just A Few Reminders

 

Please make sure to bring the following with you:

 

  •  Up-to-date vaccination card (this is a legal requirement)

 

  • Please make sure your dog has had their kennel cough vaccination

 

  • Any special dietary requirements your dog may have

 

  • Any bedding/toys your dog may want

 

  • All vaccinations including kennel cough must be given at least two weeks prior to boarding
  • otherwise we cannot accept your dog(s)

FAQs

What vaccinations does my dog need?

All dogs must be fully vaccinated against parvovirus, canine distemper, adenovirus, canine parainfluenza, leptospirosis and infectious bronchitis (kennel cough).

You should look for 3 stickers on your dogs vaccination card:

DHP or DHPPi - Valid for 36 months

Lepto 2 or 4 - Valid for 12 months

KC or Bronchishield - Valid for 12 months and must be given at least 14 days prior to boarding.

You must bring your dogs vaccination card with you. No dogs will be accepted without proof of valid vaccinations.

Do you accept titre testing?
Can you administer my dogs medication?
What time is drop off / collection?

Important Information

VACCINATIONS

 

On arrival please remember to bring your pets up to date vaccinations card. These must include annual boosters and kennel cough vaccine.  Any vaccinations that are due to expire before boarding with us  must be done and fully completed at least 14 days prior to boarding as this is a live virus and we cannot accept any pet which has been vaccinated within 14 days of arrival. If unsure please give us a call and discuss.

SECURITY

 

Here at Pine Lodge Luxury Boarding we have a fully equipped top of the range CCTV security and alarm system covering the whole of the premises and perimeter. We also have installed CCTV cameras over each room so we can always monitor your pets at all times. Your pets stay and security with us is paramount and you can feel assured that your pet will be safe and secure.

 

WHAT TO BRING WITH YOU ON ARRIVAL

 

Please bring  your pets up to date Vaccination card. Any medications your dog requires.

Your dog with a collar and lead.

Any blanket or personal item you would like to leave with your pet including any toys, treats etc.

Your own  food if your dog requires a specific diet.
